Bissinger Lights installs professional LED step-lighting systems for theatres, cinemas, auditoriums and grandstands. Because we know the profiles, cabling and system technology, installation is not treated as an isolated trade.
Depending on project location and scope, installation can be carried out with Bissinger Lights support or by the appointed local contractor using the prepared system.

The people installing the lighting need to understand more than where a profile is fixed. Step geometry, LED configuration, cable exits, power supplies and control technology all affect the final result.

Installation windows, step construction, floor finishes, cable outlets and electrical handover points are coordinated with the relevant teams.
Install, check & hand over
The agreed components are installed and the defined commissioning scope is completed together with the relevant project interfaces.
Define what is included before work begins.
Known installation conditions are included in the agreed scope. If the project changes later or unexpected additional work becomes necessary, the effect on effort and cost should be clarified before that additional work is carried out.
Bissinger Lights does not need to perform every task.
The important point is that the responsibilities are clear: who installs the profiles, who provides and connects the wiring, and who carries out the relevant electrical and statutory work.

Where project location and scope allow, Bissinger Lights can install the agreed step-lighting components and coordinate the required preparation with the project team.
Work alongside the local electrical team.
The electrical contractor remains responsible for the tasks within its agreed scope. Bissinger Lights contributes system knowledge, product installation and technical coordination.
Supply the system with technical support.
Where another contractor installs the system, Bissinger Lights can prepare the components and provide technical information and support for the agreed interfaces.

What can form part of commissioning support?
01 · Installation: compare profile location, fixing, assignment and installation detail with the implemented system.
02 · 24 V system: review the agreed feed points, power supplies and circuit allocation within the defined scope.
03 · Controls: check agreed DMX, DALI or project-specific control functions where they form part of the supplied system.
04 · Functional handover: review the light output, assignment and agreed operating functions and support the project team during technical handover.

Our installation experience in Germany is useful because it influences how systems are engineered and prepared. For international projects, the prepared lighting system can also be integrated by the appointed local contractor.
