Practical questions about LED step profiles.

Which profile is best for a theatre or auditorium?
There is no single best profile for every project. The correct choice depends on step geometry, floor finish, available installation space, the required light effect and the operating conditions of the venue.
Are the profiles manufactured to project-specific lengths?
Yes. Lengths, cable exits, connector leads and grouping can be prepared according to the project quantities and installation sequence.
Can SL1, SL2, SLR, SLD and BL be dimmed?
The lighting systems can be designed for dimmed operation. The required dimming range and suitable components depend on LED configuration, load, cable lengths and control system.
Can the profiles be integrated with DMX or DALI?
Yes. DMX and DALI can be integrated depending on the project. Power supplies, dimmers and circuits are coordinated with the intended stage-lighting, house-light or building-control concept.
Can the system operate from backup power?
Backup operation can be engineered where required. This does not automatically mean that the step lighting fulfils a regulated emergency-lighting function. Applicable requirements are clarified with the responsible electrical and life-safety planning team.
Can a local contractor install the profiles outside Germany?
Yes. Bissinger Lights can configure and supply the system for integration by the appointed local installation contractor. Interfaces, documentation and responsibilities are coordinated with the project team.
